Grants

We Seek Grants for Innovative Agricultural Practices and We Disperse Grants to the Local Community.

Just growing food successfully in Arizona Desert climates is innovative in itself, but we are forced to deal with some of the most extreme weather issues such as: Temperature Fluctuations, Violent Thunder and Hail Storms and Hot Dry Spells to name a few.

At Foodscape Visions we prioritize the pursuit of growing food year round using the least amount of energy or fuel possible. Implementing smart, low-tech and high-tech solutions for generating proper growing conditions in protected environments is part of our building strategy. We are not the first to have these ideas, but we are very passionate about bringing abundant food growth practices to your neighborhood and backyard.

Utilizing ideas such as:

  • Compost Heat Systems which create heat for your greenhouse in the Winter and produce soil for your next Spring Garden.
  • Extending Light Hours with LED lights for affordable extended grow cycles.
  • Utilizing heatsinks and radiant heat solutions in the greenhouse.
  • Experimenting with Electroculture and other advanced growth and abundance experiments.
  • Back To Eden No-Till gardening Method with Deep Mulch and Manure to create a living soil microbiome.
  • Utilizing drainage flow and swales to make the best use of precious water in the desert climate.

With ideas like these, substantial community effort and some serious funding we can make miracles happen in the desert. It is our goal to bring together like-minded folks who see the importance of growing their own food and sharing that experience with others. We hope you will join us in identifying the right people to push this vision forward in Prescott Valley and greater Yavapai County. After that who knows? Maybe the idea catches fire and we build entire Agricultural Commerce Communities to boost Food Security in your Neighborhood!

If this resonates with you please find the DONATE button and help us build the treasure chest for responsible community development!

God Bless you as you give.
